It’s been a little crazy for the UK and we’re not used to this amount of snow and I’m sure those who live with snow knee high every winter must yawn, you’re going to just have to forgive the rest of us. My dad who arrived today from Portugal hadn’t seen weather like this since the 1970′s. The girls were home from school and after an unsuccessful attempt of Bikerboy driving to work he took middle daughter and toddler sledging on the hill that backs on to our garden.
I have the tinniest kitchen but the one consolation is the view it has of the garden and the field beyond.
And this is the view from our bathroom. We all went aahhh this morning when walking into the bathroom
At the bottom of our garden there’s a pathway
And this pathway goes up all the way to one of the largest woods in the outskirts of London
My candelabra has become my snow measurement
It will be a while until the little one can swing again

It is so hard to believe that you’re getting snow outside of London! At least that much snow! Enjoy your white January. I think Los Angeles was the warmest place in the states a few days ago. The rest of the country is trapped under a cold front!
Hi Jessica – one good thing about it was families having to take a day off work and enjoyed spending it with their kids! I wish we backed on to a larger hill so we could take the skis out
