Three Sisters

Middle Daughter’s Birthday

by azelia on August 1, 2010

Three sisters in a bed.  The tradition in our house on anyone’s birthday is to open cards and presents as soon as you wake up.  As middle daughter’s birthday fell in a week day and Bikerboy had to leave early for work, we were all in her bedroom shortly after 6am!  With a mug of tea and mug of coffee in hand Bikerboy and I enjoyed watching the eagerness the 3 year old had helping her sister opening the cards and presents…she was the only one who was fully awake.

Later in the day I was trying to post photos of her birthday  cake and I wanted to find a nice photo of middle daughter for the entry.   Going through my photo collection in the last year I realised I didn’t have a single good photo of her!  My entire photo library it seems over a period of 12 months is of food, with the occasional photo of 3 year old.  Poor middle daughter is no where to be seen.  There is a point in your kids life when the photo taking is sparse but I just didn’t think it had become this bad!  Slap wrist…must take note!
