While I was in the middle of posting Work In Progress: Gluten Free Corncakes, and trying to decide which photo was going to appear at the top of the post, I asked Bikerboy’s opinion if he thought the above photo was a good photo to use at the top, I couldn’t decide between two. He looked at the photo and then looked at me and said, “…urrmmm…definitely not…it’s too phallic!” And I said, “Really?”, he said, “..Yes!”
And I looked at the photo again but all I could see was how gorgeous a cob of corn looked, with the daylight capturing its blond strands and the individual corn nuggets appearing like golden pearls. OK…I’m not innocent…really I’m not! I took on board that others might see things different and decided not to use it to be on the safe side and I opted for the one below. But I still look at it and think, “Really….Really?”

Hmmm, unless Bikerboy has an unusual anatomy, to say the least
it doesn’t look phallic to me! Phallic needs to be either a long bit with some rounded bollox at the base or the long bit needs a bit of a mushroom head shape.
This just looks like lovely fresh corn on the cob!
I knew I could rely on you to see the artist side of it
…I think he’s thinking along the lines of the ‘peeled banana’ phallic…lol !
